I built a canoe from a kit when I was 14, and bought a sidecar for my pushbike to carry it to the river. I went off with three of my mates canoeing on the Thames for two weeks. I started a car-cleaning round to pay for sailing. And I was into shooting - yes incredibly my school had a rifle range.

Experience - it's what counts. Get some in.

Once met a pirate. Nice fellow, had a beard and a wooden leg. He kept a parrot on his shoulder too. The only problem was that he kept trying to sell me dodgy software all the time. tsk.

Strange that, when you're a teenager you think life is pretty dire at times, but when you go to work and enter the world of taxes, politics and meet all sorts of crappy people you suddenly realise that being a teenager wasn't that bad and wished you'd enjoyed it more.
