Should the human race stop breeding? Surely we are building up expectations of a good standard of living just as anarchy, poverty, misery and desease spread across the world.

That's assuming of course that will carry on using up all the natural resources, overheat the planet, change the weather to voilent storms and floods, let loose a few superbugs and boil our brains with microwaves.

Is it fair to subject our offspring to all this PLUS the burden of looking after us when we are old. (Just in case anybody thinks the tax we pay now will do this - it won't, because it's all being spent on the current generation of old-age pensioners and the ratio of wage-earners is going down)

Or am I being too gloomy?
