POP is an instant word, its not designed for extending.
As soon as it starts its over!
It's like *Snap* an instant word you wouldn't extend snap would you?

Pop has the same principle. I can't think of one instance that you would need to extend pop!

Try putting an accent on the last "p"

If one was going to say the word "pop" for a long time, as to strech the word out, how would one say it?

I mean, you couldn't just say "pooooooooooooooop", because that would be an extended version of poop.

Any ideas?
