I was quite offended by what Time Warp said earlier. I need to know the truth.

All you need to do is eat lots of food, because:
Alcohol raises your blood sugar level (BSL). Then, it comes crashing down again in the middle of the night. So, if you eat a cereal before you go to bed, your BSL rises and you don't get such a bad hangover. The next morning, drink a glucose-based drink to kick-start your BSL, then eat food, as glucose will make your BSL come crashing down even worse if you're not careful.
