Its still a great game though(thats timesplitters, i dont know about Q3, ive heard thats good)Having complained about the lavk of story, i then realised my favourite FPS-unreal tournament-has no story whatsoever

To do a full on you need to vary your flip, I think. I had this problem. The trick book is correct, you just need to get it right. Try the wind tunnel in Tokyo Megaplex.
