Debian method of scanning a databse for a dow...um, a useful command for downloads. Just noticed that it's 8:15, I had an hour or so sleep last night, in between kicking Windows Master Boot Records and poking my modem in to working.

Heh...Linux, you know, "better than windows"? Root is the highest access level oyu can have on a machine, and while I have the password to the root account, he has an account he set up for himself with the same privelages. Wouldn't be so bad, but he can connect to it from his box and 0wn it..i.e, do whatever he wants with fulls rights to the entire system.
I'm guessing you really don't want to know any of this, so I'll just go back to sudo apt-cache'ing random files.
