either way it's a win/win situation

I'm not suggesting you go poking your cat's tail in to the power supply, I mean if you need to upgrade it to accomodate the power for a different processor.

Heh, how much this lappy cost is irrelevant (still cheaper than the new powerbooks though), I'm talking about desktop models - my new box cost just over £400, salvaging a few old parts.

Your insults about Windows are still unfounded - MacOS is one of my favourite things about the Mac (mainly because it's based around a Unix kernel..) - but the windows comments are all focusing on this idea of Windows being resource hungry and crashing every 10 minutes. Get win2k and you'll see that this blatently isn't the case, these flaws are only in the home o/s family.

Anyway, over the last week of using Macs at school, they've crashed on me more than my Win2k PC here does =P. I haven't used OSX myself, but the base kernel of OS9.3 uses over 30mb of ram itself - not exactly compact, seeing as linux ones can easily be < 8mb..

I don't mind PC's because a PC can be Linux or any computer. But Windows SUCKS! It really is soooo crap! Everything about it sucks! why did I install it onto my Mac system? To prove a point.. I don't exactly know what yet but.. can you stop saying PC's are so much cheaper than PC's!
