In fact i got an i dea, lets have a word game. I write a word, and u reply with the first word which comes into your head.

I'm a bit weird at the moment: I've got an infection in my foot that's broken out into a sore and is causing me some major pain - I'm doped up on co-codamol and am quite high all the time.

I got my car back on Monday after some bird pulled out and hit my left-side a fortnight ago, but I can't drive because of a) my foot and b) the pain killers.

Apart from that I'm fine!

You?

Strangely it has been one of my life goals to build and run an independant cinema. I assumed the only time it would happen is after I retired.

We could build our own cinemas?

This whole issue makes me sad.

There seems to be no answer to the problem.

London's too far for me and I wouldn't suggest that anyone come to Kidderminster voluntarily ...

I've just got to see War Of The Worlds at the flicks, along with Sin City and Batman Begins.

God damned legs!

Ha. I used to go with my brother too. No more however.

I go with friends sometimes, but they just claim it's a waste of money and they'll "get the DVD".

I prefer the cinema to a DVD anyday. Perhaps we should start an SR cinema go-ers club, Comrade.
;)

On second thoughts, all the popcorn would get stuck in my teeth...

I love artsy, etc. Chinese films, because I'm a good subtitles reader. After the first 15 minutes I can get the whole scene and subtitles in. Others I know hate it though and just get lost.

Rare for me, too - the missus never likes the films I do and my mates and brothers live too far away.

My parents saw H of D in the cinema and my dad said he liked it, although I don't know if that was just because of the subtitles (he's almost totally deaf).

Well. To be honest, I haven't seen The Last Samurai, but that's the impression I got from the trailers.

H of D was amazing though. I felt weird afterwards. Indescribable. It appears I have dumb luck of (now much more rarely than a few years ago) going to the cinemas and actually watching a film I really enjoy.

EDIT:

The going is the rare bit.
