Nope, it was spot on. So as useful as a hanglider made out of light titanium with streamlined aerofoils with tribal patterns.

Of course, you need to buy Jap games from then on.

I vaguely remember something from an old nintendo magazine on importing games machines from Japan...
It involved a step up or step down power converter (important to get the right one apparently) and checking to see if your TV can correctly display the ouput from the console.

Thats probably about as useful as a hanglider made out of lolly sticks and toilet paper held together with the glue from post-it notes.

I posted this in the PS2 WLT though I thought I might try here too.

I have a friend who wants to buy the Japanese PS2 while she is over there, what are the things she'll have to consider trying to get it to work over here. Any help would be great, or links.

thanks

Wow. Looks like we've all been away, then.

I disappeared from here for three months, did many a thing in the time I was gone. Didn't travel as much as you Biggles, but I did spend a fortnight in Florida where I swam with dolphins, and was found very handsome and dashing and what-not by a very attractive American girl.

Yup. I am rather snowed under with reports and capability comparisons and other crap to do, but yeah, I am back in the country.
