The black button thing never really made sense in online play. I've been in many a situation which basically churns out the same conversation.
"Why didn't you warn me that they were approaching the base?"
"I did"
...
"Oh wait, forgot... black button"
It would be better for talking to be automatic to all your team mates, and if an enemy so happens to be in range, automatic proxy as well.
And you shouldn't really take too much notice of the notable status, it was really brought in to differentiate SR from the other forums.

Timmargh's greatest ever post his near death experience, where he got jammed between the bed and the wardrobe or something.
'fix, the black and white buttons shouldn't really be used much in most games. Especially FPS games. Last time I played Halo using a controller S, I died every time I tried to talk.

Fair enough, I've just seen his stuff in General Chat. He was voted in during one of my uni absences, so maybe he was good back then.

Not really, he seems genuine, has never pi**ed me off and he can be funny, just a personal opinion.
