Everyone's always on about them and everyone - whether publicly or secretly - uses them.

Cheats.

Now, I'm not saying that I'm a saint (I am a diabolically evil WELSH albino, after all), but I'm pretty much against using any cheats in any shape or form when playing a game... that is, until I've completed the game.

In my opinion, attempting to complete a game AFTER you've already cheated so that you can see all that the game has to offer is pretty much a waste of time. Fair enough, part of wanting to complete a game is so that you can at least say that you've taken on the challenge and won (and of course the bragging rights that are attained by doing so), but completing a game is also about EARNING thee right to see every little secret, reward and other stuff that a game has to offer. By cheating so see all of this straight away, you're effectively wasting the 30-40 quid you paid for the game.

Cheats are fine for mucking around after you've completed the game (and for people who ultimately suck at games) but otherwise, what's the point?

Cheats like Need for Speed's "turn your car into a dinosaur" and stuff that won't advance you in a game or unlock things you need to work for are cool.
