Gripping tighter on the hand
No more crying no more shouting
Look down sweetly wishful doubting
Children grown and marry still
Uncooked simmer on the grill
The fat's still there, confusion grows,
Poisoned meat, no time for slows,
Bickering children as excuse
Grumpy parents faired abuse
What will come of lives so thin
Creations bought and forced to grin
Drawing lines across the walls
Fingertips of comfort stalls
There's no living in this land
Where we can't join our merry band
Pointing out before they're made
Wish they had the patience laid
Try and cover their mistakes
Too late now the babe's awake
Cry out loud and pump your head
With go and kill the children dead
They'll never learn for they're too late
Just let them die enraged with hate
They'll fill their cups from their foul mind
And forget of which the roads might wind
> You got kind of a dark side, don't ya?
*******
Even Grix cannot overwhelm the power of the dark side.
Inspiration comes easy these days, which is nice. I was always afraid I'd lose it, but I'm so relaxed and happy, it just comes now.
Four years doing a Computer Games degree should provide enough inspiration, anyway. :0) Wish more people would write though... I enjoy writing a lot, but I love reading imaginative stuff. Not enough here, in my opinion.
:D
I try to keep myself balanced.
It's only to do with growing up. Children are representations of childhood, but that's all.
