PS2
---
Pros:
It looks like a small radiator, so your other half might not notice you have a console.
It can stand sideways, so you can always enter it in circus acts.
It hasn't got any Mario games.
It will give you more exercise, as you will always have to stretch to reach the power supply on the back.
Cons:
It might get mistaken for a radiator and get thrown out because it's not generating enough heat.
It plays PS1 games, so your kid brother or sister will always be on it.
It hasn't got any Mario games.
Xbox
====
Pros:
It could provide enough heat for a whole room, given it's size.
The circular light on the front is so large that you could use it to illuminate a room.
The Joypads, over time, could improve the width of your hands, impressing the ladies (or scaring strange men if you are a lady).
It hasn't got any Mario games.
Cons:
The size might also mean it gets used as a brick by mistake in building that extension to the house.
It could give you a hernia if you wanted to move it.
You need planning permission to install it in the lounge.
Gamecube
========
Pros:
It's so small and cute that your other half will fall in love with it before it's turned on.
You can hide it with kid's toys if you want to.
It's so small that if you have pixies around, they can play on it too.
It has Mario games.
Cons:
It's so small you might loose it while clearing up.
The discs could be hovered up if left lying around
It has Mario games.
You could get paranoid at the smile that lights up every time you turn the console on and think it's laughing at you.
