"I think Mr. Beckham was a very lucky boy today - that elbow had more intent than Keane's (there's no reason - other than intent - for an elbow to come above head height when running), and he didn't even get booked."

Did anyone see Arsenal vs Charlton highlights on Match of the Day?
Well Henry lashed out at the Charlton player with his elbow which the referee didn't do anything about, he deliberatly tried to hit the player after the ball had gone elsewhere, but in 2moro's papers we shall see Beckham all over the back pages...
Why?
Is Henry not a "very lucky boy" then Wookie?
Beckham appeared to elbow Bowyer during Saturday`s Elland Road clash. Referee Jeff Winter saw the incident but did not even book Beckham, deciding a free-kick to Leeds was all that was needed.
Henry`s alleged elbow on Robinson at The Valley was not seen by referee Steve Dunn and the FA have decided to investigate further - which could mean referring the incident to the video advisory panel.
From Skysports.com
The FA released a statement on its website which read: "We can confirm that no further action will be taken against David Beckham following an alleged use of the elbow towards Lee Bowyer in the Leeds United - Manchester United match on Saturday, September 14.
"The match referee, Jeff Winter, saw the incident in question and gave a free-kick to Leeds United.
"FA rules state that if a referee sees an incident as it occurs, takes a decision accordingly, and does not request it to be further examined after the match, no additional action can be taken. The matter is therefore closed.
"In relation to an alleged use of the elbow involving Thierry Henry of Arsenal and John Robinson of Charlton Athletic, also on Saturday, match referee Steve Dunn has confirmed that he did not see the incident in question. The FA will therefore investigate the incident further."
How can that be fair ?
But assuming you mean Henry's elbow... it didn't connect.
Not that that justifies his action in any way, but had it connected, I think he'd have seen a red card.

Beckham pulled his elbow back and elbowed someone in the face. He didn't get booked, let alone sent off. This alone is a story, but add in he was stand in captain because last week Keane got sent off for the same thing, and it's back page.

It's to do that he's done it one week after Roy Keane did, for the same club, in the same way. If Phil Neville, or Giggs, or any other Man Utd player had done it if they were captain it'd be the same story. Maybe even if they weren't captain...
