heres a riddle that's so hard it took me three days to solve on my own. Damn i'm slow!

Theres a Nun on a trainlane
Theres a train coming running towards her and is going to hit her
there is no moonlight, no lights, or no other electronical gadgets
but by some miracle (the answers not a miracle) it stopped just before hitting the nun
how?

The maker does not need it
the buyer does no use it
and the user use's it without knowing
what is it?
