Talking of the moon, did you know that Earth actually has two moons, and a third was thought to be discovered recently? (though further research showed it was space 'junk', a relic of the Apollo missions.
So, the universe. It's pretty big, ain't it?
But then, It's an interesting subject and everyone has an idea, from the realists to the pragmatics, of what the universe means and how it will end. One thing is for certain, we haven't seen or understood more than a microscopic amount about this weird and fascinating world.

True, it was only 300 years ago (not even a milisecond in evolutionary terms) that it took months to get to America from England and years to get to other parts of the globe. Only 100 years ago it would still take a few weeks. Now it can be done in 2 hours, courtessy of concord.

It's not endless. The big bang was the start and the Big Crunch is the end.
