Everyone at work is too cynical! No one believes in conspiracy theories, flying monkeys or anything interesting. UFO's are so last year and ghosts, woah, don't even mention those. It's just no fun any more. What happened to the late 90's X-file flap that everyone so suddenly got in to.

It was quite funny, I suppose. There was I, just minding my own spooky business, talking about new UFO sightings and strange DNA to no-one in particular, when the X-files started on TV. Yes, it took about half a season for people to change, then Wham! (no, George Michael didn't appear, thank God) Everyone becomes suddenly interested in spooky stuff, even if they didn't have a clue what they were talking about. Well, guess who was in the middle of it all, yep, the guy who read Fortean Times and had studied every piece of UFO video footage going. Then it just exploded, I mean, that alien autopsy video, please!

Well, it seems to have died down now and only UKLiving TV and other 3rd rate channels carry on the weird programming with their 'oh so realistic' haunted house stuff and their sixth sense chat shows. mmmm. Still, guess it makes me feel special again.

The truth is out there still, but does anyone care, nooooooooooooo.

What happened was real life hit

After certain world events most people are more worried about human threat that alien threat.

Anyway, all crazes come to an end sooner or later
