Ah, 'Last of the Summer Wine', what gaming potential has this incredibly unfunny, yet strangely long-running TV show:

Last of the Summer Wine RPG:

Travel around a dull Yorkshire village, meeting people as you go to join your party of three. Engage in such epic quests trying to earn the true love of your lady Nora Batty, and falling over walls and into rivers. The eventual goal is to discover whatever the hell 'Summer Wine' is...

Last of the Summer Wine Racing:

What I remember most about this TV show is people flying down hills on all kind of contraptions, and falling into the water. This should be a racing game. You can have cycling sections and running sections as well as the completely stupid falling down the hill bits.

Last of the Summer Wine Beat em-Up:

Old people fighting would be funny. They could have all manner of special moves too, such as flying colostomy bag punches and the coughing fit and nasty lung butter.

Last of the Summer Wine Party Game:

Roll the virtual dice, and move around the specially themed boards, varying from the Yorkshire Dales, to a quaint Yorkshire Village. Engage in such mini-games as tea drinking contests and walking along the narrow wall.

Last of the Summer Wine Dance-athon:

Old people love to dance, just look at the dance floor at any wedding. Incorporate this into a Last of the Summer Wine license and dance your hip away with Compo, Clegg, Foggy and the rest of the gang.

**STOP PRESS**

Hot on the heels of the Last of the Summer Wine games comes news of games based on Heartbeat, Ballykissangel, and any and every other Sunday evening 'classic'.

The Heartbeat game will be a highly original detective game, in which you will take on the role of PC WhatevertheblokefromHeartbeatiscalled and chase after Greengrass for selling home-brew, or something.

What about Nora Batty's dance beat?

Much like Britney's game but instead of a fine nubile teenager being the center of the game you have a fat old lady in laddered tights.

I know i'd buy a copy...

Meh. What idiot thought that a show about old men doing nothing would be funny. The best bit is the women picking there tea cups up all at the same time, and thats not saying a lot is it.

Good post though
