Thank christ.
In the past week I've played Hitman 2, Conflict:Desert Storm and Medievil:Total War.
And without question, they suck. Not saying the games are bad, but in my opinion based solely on "Would I play this"? this answer is, without a doubt: No.
So I've saved myself about £60, I would have bought these had I not tried them 1st.
Medievil:Total War - from the makers of Shogun. And it's exactly the same, but with knights instead of Samurai. Shogun was alright, but don't fancy shelling out for the exact same game twice.
Conflict:Desert Storm - p***-poor controls, unresponsive, slow, shoddy graphics and dreadful sound. What an utter shambles this floater is.
Hitman 2 - Just wasn't my cup of tea. Graphics nice, idea is cool but didn't grab me at all.
So hurrah for demos, for they have saved me money!
(all opinions on games as above are solely personal and in no way reflect the true nature of the game and don't listen to me if you were going to buy them. Except Desert Storm, because that licks balls)

bet you liked dressing as a sailor huh.
(this reply may contain hints that goatboy is a bit "the other way" but only hints mind)

also thank god for GAD, else I would have also shelled out £35 on a copy of Tekken 4 which should arrive tomorrow. Thanks SR. :-)
I dressed as a sailor and shot a politician as he gave a speech.
Then I was in a restaurant shoot-out and then I chased a bloke down a fire escape and shot him in a backyard.
And it's ace, you can hit people at walls.
the PS2 version has cack draw distance which kinda ruins it a bit but the x box version rules.
i normaly try and play a demo before i buy a game.
And yes I agree with I can't remember who posted just before me - I was in two minds about Timesplitters2 - until I played the demo. It's a definite purchase as far as I'm concerned now.
Even more worrying than the hamsters - my dogs lick each others balls !!
As for demos, they rule, when your PC will actually run them, anyway, Timesplitters 2 demo rocks on PS2!!!
