Yah, I know Rares loyaltys are a hot topic these days, but I want more of JFG!

The first game was absoloutely brilliant - fun, huge, bloody, inventive and actualy really quite breathtaking (the water ruins with that music playing, and the lens flare!) It was great fun, if a bit devoid of happy life in places, and perhaps it had linear levels, but they could be addressed in a GC sequel.

Just imagine...............

like microchips , i got mine the xmas that i came out , at first i was a bit dissapointed , then i played it more and more , and then some more , then i got bored with it (i got stuck with the ship parts), i came back to it a few months ago before i got my gamecube , and have about 3 more ship parts to get. But i've lost interest in it to be honest , a sequel would be great , as it is one of my all time favourite games.

I never got JFG, I played it at a mates once but I didn't think it was quite good enough to warrant buying. Although the 2 player thing with the robot was fun :)

They won't release a new one, because it didn't sell well, and Nintendo didn't like it very much. Oh well. I liked it.

The levels while large, were almost totaly linear in their own little sections. A different approach - ie much freer levels would be more fun.

The control system itself was perfect.

The controls themselves were a little sluggish though.
The targeting was a little inaccurate and movements weren't so precise.
Still, with a littlebit of tightening, those controls could be perfect.

The levels?

I don't see how you could get lost.
They weren't THAT big.

I'd like them to be a little less linear this time.
Also, a tighter control system would allow for more platforming.

The first one i didnt like becuase of the controls, they just didnt feel right and i kept missed the ants by a matter of cm.

The main thing was that i never knew where to go next, sure i might understand it now but i found myself lost and the levels were far too big, or shall i say not broke up into small sections.

I enjoyed Jet Force Gemini - Actually its still one of my favourite N64 games. Would love to see Rare make a sequel on whatever console - It would be awesome on GC!

I liked the game very much (only got it a couple of months ago off Ebay) but I didn't get very far, maybe I'll get back to it one day!
