"Angry Scotsman!!!"

Was anybody listening to the radio today at about 3:45? I was listening on the bus, and I think it was either Radio 1 or Radio 5 live. Anyway, they were talking about football, and there was a man who called up and disputed some of the information the radio station had. Anyway, he started saying that they should get new presenters and what not, and then you could hear the presenter talking in the background saying "Get this guy off the air" and "Cut him off". Clearly, they were having technical difficulties, and among the next few things the man said were:

Presenter: "Could you hang up the phone sir"
Angry Man: "No, I don't think I will. You call yourself a football fan! This radio station is a disgrace"

Angry Man: "This radio station is crap. You've probably never been to a football match."

Angry Man: "You know what, this station is a big bag of poo" (that ain't misquoted either!)

Anyway, it was a jolly old laugh, a try ROFLMAO moment. So, did anybody else hear the disgruntled caller and his conversation (about 3 or 4 minutes long) which involved plenty of insults and laughs a plenty. I laugh so hard, I get a nose bleed (not really).

Yeah, that's why he cried - he had guts ache.

I take offence by that!! We're not all angry just random football fanatics with nothing better to do than paint "Football rules!" on their overly large stomachs ;D

Angry Scotsman on the radio?

I've got one trapped inside the body of eight worms on my PC...

That was on Radio 1. It was a set-up.

They pretend one of their producers presents a football show on Five Live, but he knows nothing about football, and gets it all wrong.

So it wasn't really an angry call. :o(
