You climb up on one side and slide down the other,
You skid on your back and you're just left for dead,
You stand and you feel the rush to your head,
The blood pushed down, pumped straight from your heart,
You've lost all your motion, and you're back at the start,
For to realise your love was a fake closing gap,
Is for your brightening truth to escape your trap,
Of living your life as the slave of a drug,
A simple escape by the squeeze of a hug,
Life isn't there when you're handled with care,
And love won't exist without lights through the mist,
A darkened cloud that you bring over your soul,
The stars so intrusive around your speakfree hole,
For it'll still stay up high and burn through your years,
The light may calm you and dry all the tears,
And maybe you'll realise you travelled alone,
Even through all the times on the phone,
A comfort for them so they'll just feel so calm,
The swordsman of love will defend you from harm,
But hang on in there and grip on the sides,
Throw out all the weight if you're held down by prides,
Sandbags of unfortune can be forced to be split,
And chase back up the circle with your fingers in grit,
Because for all the worlds that you have seen,
I'd say your fingernails are far too clean,
To say you've given up all your hope,
On not having to bother with a fire to stoke,
Because maybe someone's walking the same circle as you,
And maybe while you're high they're just feeling blue,
So give them a hand to bring them back safe,
So you can walk both together and leap off in faith,
Because love is greatly misunderstood,
Often hyped with only a view in the wood,
Trying to watch a passing breeze,
Escape within the gaps of trees,
No-one can tell you if love has a name,
But it should never carry the label of pain,
And words in your heart should be spoken aloud,
If you're ever to stand out from the crowd,
Nothing to hold back and nothing to care,
No fear from the words you may hold dear,
And love is just your own favourite game,
But only if someone else feels the same,
If you've loved and lost then there's more love to call,
So please my friends, don't build a wall.
