Sorry, a bit of a demanding title...

Anyway, there must be an easier way to find out my IP than going into Netmeeting everytime I wanna play a game against somebody!

get MSN messenger plus (search google i don't know the damn webby) and it has a feature there which gets the ip and can display it in your chat menu to your buddy :) idea for GTA links.

I'm hoping to have a 3 way LAN soon, GTA and a flight sim as my mates PC isn't upto much :D

Heh, a few people on SR were trying to get a GTA internet thing going, only played 1 match in the end..lost badly :D
I don't like GTA2.

I got a modem...

Tried playing GTA2 last night against my mate!

It's rather annoying cos it ran so slow...

He has ADSL though so it wasn't that bad. I won 5 - 0!

If you've got ASDL/Cable you'll need to select your NIC from the drop-down menu.

On the Start menu, open the Run box. Type winipcfg - all the info you need is there.
