"Unlikely as it sounds, the film director Tim Burton is in talks about a Broadway version of his 1989 blockbuster Batman, entitled Batman: The Musical."
How cool is that?
Suggested lyrics on a postcard to the usual address :-)

Yes but he went back with them after recording the first album.
And Nate's on their bass.

Did you know that the Batman Returns soundtrack has a Sunny Day Real Estate song on it called '8' which is also on their album LP2?
No?
Well now you do.
No need to thank me, seriously.
I think Burton must be punishing Elfman for having all those successes behind his back...
> batman, good?? *chokes*
yes my friend, Batman and batman Returns are widely acknowledged as being the best batman films.
Trust me, I have gazed into my ball-of-suckness and this floated to the top.
Unless Adam West is in it doing the Bat-usi.
Even a comedy Batman Musical will lick balls. Unless Brian Blessed plays Batman - I'd pay to see him in the cowl with his massive beard sticking out through the mouth-hole.
It would look like someone has stuffed a hair-mattress into a balaclava.
"THE JOKER? MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA...DIIIIIIIIIIVE!"
But unless Brian Blessed/Adam West is in it, this will be absolute stinkfinger of theatre.
I'm betting that Danny Elfman's feeling guilty about wh*ring himself out to Sam Raimi for Spiderman MIB II and Red Dragon. So burton's putting him through a bizarre sort of purgatory...
Picture Val Kilmer doing the Nanananananananana BATMAN!, except to the "Nessun Dorma" tune - Na nana Naaaaaa Na nanaaaaaaaa Na nana naaaaaa na naaaaaaaaaaa na na na ets Batman!
"Oh my God, I was wrong... it was Earth all along. Yes they finally made a monkey out of meeee..."
Dr Zaeus, Dr Zaeus...
*spins on back*
Batman: The Musical? Wonder if Val Kilmer's available?
