Well, I was luckly to get my gamecube on release day and was very proud and excited to own nintendo's newest consoles. With my consoles i got star wars and luigi's mansion, then went on to buy super monkey ball and super smash bros. Well out of all them i have to stay ive enjoyed super monkey ball and super smash bros whereas star wars and luigis mansion well kinda bored me and my over all thought on the gamecube is not that good and ive been playing on my newly bought PS2, so i have a bit of money at the mo so what i want to know is:

What games should i get to get me interested in my gamecube again?

Many Thanks For You Help

I think he means in general, not on specific games. There shall always be exceptions. I think 96% for Mario Sunshine was a bit high.

Just a bit though.

It's also worth noting that Nintendo had the online gaming idea first, a good while back. Unfortunately it was poorly received at the time and was therefore only released in Japan with two games.

Well actually, the idea of Doshin was thought up a long time before Black & White! This is just the sequel. Also, Doshin will probably be fun to play ;).

The official one has it aswell, and it's also worth noting that the official one had it first. Also, 9/10 and 89%? That seems to be about the same...

Yeah, it's out now - 9/10 and part one of the guide. You might want to pick up a copy of NGC aswell, and see which one you prefer. I've always liked NOM, I just seem to agree with them more than any other magazine.

The modem original on the Dreamcast ? I don't think so ! Pc's had haad them for ages. The Dreamcast lacked any decent online games and that doomed the modem from the start. Someone at Sega shold have looked atthe cost of internet use at the time (much cheaper now) and realised it couldn't work at the time.

Even forgetting the online disaster, the Dreamcast failed to gain a large enough user base despite being better technically than the Playstation. Sony had the games and the marketing, Sega had a modem.

As for Doshin, it isn't original. Very similar in idea to Black And White and another one of those giant thing wandering around games I can't remember the name of......

That's becasue people are too narrow minded these days, something original comes along and they run a mile. People are always complaining about lack of originality when if they really face the facts, they'd rather play Tomb Raider 20 or Fifa 2003: Oh so bored now.

Doshin must be good...I mean look how excited everyone is about it, and ho much press it's getting, like a little corner about 1/8th of a page in the last NOM and a small mention in NGC last issue ? It's a big yellow guy wandering around so I think there are going to be a fair few unbelievers out there !
