Here is an example: When I got Super Mario Sunshine, I was expecting a good game. But when I got the game, I found that the story was stale and the camera was worse than expected. Resident Evil is also like this when it comes to my tastes. I never had a game with worse controls than that (I'm talking about the N64 and PS2 versions). However there were games that were suprisingly good. Like Final Fantasy 8. This game got me started on RPG games. And Super Smash Brothers was a lot better than I expected. I've only been at college for a week and we have already played 150 VS matches!
So, here is some good advise you've probably heard many time in the past: RENT FIRST! No matter how good you hear the game is, rent it. Sure, the gamble will pay off from time to time, but sometimes it doesn't.
Until next time, goodnight...

Yup because you can't have every game you want.
