He is one of the best music video directors.. his video for the Beastie's sabotage is one of my favourite videos ever.
And not forgetting the Coppola connection -Spike Jonze is married to "Virgin suicides" directrice Sophia Coppola (who acted badly in Godfather III) whose brother is Roman Coppola, who
directed my other favourite video - Mansun's "Taxloss", where the band through money into Liverpool st. station, with each note having a taxloss sticker put on it. Cue swarms of businessmen making fools of themselves scrabbling for money.
Incidentally, while filming this Mansun were mistaken for the Manics by a number of papers, giving rise to the rumour that the manics were recording a follow up to 96's "Everything Must Go" when in fact they weren't.
Sheepy probably cried about it :-)
