Thraves 5th September 2002 - The town of Lamphey [Pembrokeshire, Wales] is a peaceful community, unstirred by events such as 'war', 'the plague', 'contraception' etc. But today was different, as a man, Nick Harpit [19] discovered a major link between games and music, and puts to light a new question.

"I felt like just playing on my Gameboy, and since my little brother had nicked all my games, I had only Tetris left. So I tried that, relive some past memories."

"So, while playing, I decided to like listen to some music, so I put The Wall on, by Pink Floyd. It was only then I started to notice the connections."

"So I switched off my Gameboy, and switched off my cd player, and then turned them both on together. I was shocked and amazed to see the music fit the game, almost exactly!"

Nick demonstrated to us how the blocks land to some of the beats on some of the drumming. "Pink Floyd are geniuses. I'd have never thought that they'd be able to predict this, how on earth they worked it out I'll never guess."

Pink Floyd themselves are yet to comment.

I -still- haven't done that.

Mm.

I shall now. I can play Wizard of Oz on DVD, and run Dark Side off winamp. I'll report the patheticness for the rest of the night.

Grix, would it then constitute a Pink Floyd orgy if you played teris listened to Floyd and set up the Wizard of Oz all in one go?

(now that's multi-tasking)

Like kids on holiday, they stared at the pyramids, finding them vaguely interesting, but never really understanding their significance...

By the way, does anyone remember the old Tetris tune released by Dr Funk? That ruled. You'll find it on 'Now 23', which you can almost certainly find on eBay. Go buy.
