"Question for PS2 owners only..."

Just ordered Resident Evil on Gamecube today.

I'm not really the sort of person to devote myself to one console. I have a PS2 and Gamecube, but for die-hard Sony fans, especially ones who were big Resi fans, I was wondering what your thoughts were on Resi going GC exclusive.

Are you upset?

Would it make you buy a GC?

Or don't you care?

Just wondering really, as I know Resi was a flagship franchise and a major plus for PS fans. So...write.

well for horror fans the Thing is out soon and a game called Project Zero thats is a bit like RE only instead of guns the girl uses a camera

Devil may cry 2 will be better then the resi game on GC in my biased view ;)

exactly, thats why it doesnt really bother us.

I ordered it for GC aswell earlier today - Being an owner of both consoles it doesnt really bother me. If I didnt have a GC I probably wouldnt bother getting one just for the game despite how great it is.

Slightly surprised, I must say.

But am I right in thinking this response is based largely on the fact the Resi being released soon is one you have already played - what about Resi 0 and Resi 4?

Being an owner of both consoles, I can't say. But when I didn't have a GC, and if I still didn't have a GC, I wouldn't buy a GC for Resi Evil. It's really not *that* great a game.

I feel that the resi series is getting a real boost. I mean, every part of the mansion has been redesigned and is creepier and scarier than ever before.

I just hope at some stage in the future they release it on PS2. I know it seems unlikely but if it happens it will rule.

I'm not a fanboy. I think nintendo are a great company. They've been around longer than sony and usually produce high quality games and consoles.

But I do despise XBox, Bill Gates making a shoddy attempt at creating more money. Balls.

well for me at first i was bothered, i really like the RE series but i'm kinda over res i think it's had it's time now.

i don't like the GC, it's a little bit of a rip off and the online side if it is almost none exsistant.

so no i wouldn't buy a GC just for RE0

i've had 1+2 plus code veronica on DC and that was enough for me.
