This follows a report from referee Andy D'Urso concerning an incident at the Chelsea versus Arsenal match at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Patrick Vieira has 14 days to respond to the charge.
And all for a few bad words sent in the direction of the Referee.
But can you blame him??
Someone needs to tell it to the refs, they're getting worse and worse as every season passes-by.
Hopefully D-Urso will now start acting like a Proffesional Referee (if there is such a thing!) and then lead a knock-on effect with others around him.
As we know, Roy Keane is likely to receive his further ban for the assault on Haaland immediately, making a mockery of the FA as he will be out anyway due to his operation.
I read today that, if found guilty (as we know he will be - it's his word against the ref's, and we know who the FA will back), Vieira will receive a further 2-match ban.
However! Vieira's further ban will NOT be effective immediately, but will come into effect later in the season. Presumably when we are due to play harder opposition than Bolton - I'm guessing that it'll be either the beginning of December, when we face Man U and Spurs in consecutive games, or - more likely - end of December/beginning of January, when we face Liverpool and Chelsea in consecutive games.

Most "experts" have it the the other way round. Thats just the vibe i'm getting after watching "your on sky sports" and "the premiership" last night. And these guys have nothing better to do than analyse these things.
Personally, i dont have an opinion.
Vieira swans around on his bicycle, onions round his neck going "hohihohihohiho" he quite clearly deserves bookings.
Now if he were Senegalese that would be a different matter...
Duh-so is probably using this as his reason to justify not looking again at the 2nd yellow card.
Did you see Vieira shouting anything at the ref? I didn't. In fact I was surprised he was so calm when he was dismissed.
If Duh-so wants some abusive language, he should come and see me - I'll give him plenty of examples. And a couple of black eyes, too.
This will basically boil down to Vieira's word against Duh-so's, and we all know whose side the FA will come down on there.
Maybe Vieira should get himself injured, so he can 'serve' the ban while he wouldn't be playing anyway...
