Basically I never purchased Time splittes, but it was always kind of low priority on my wish list, now that the sequel should be here in September it makes me want want want.

Basically these are some questions for those who played the first game.

1. How deep is the game, How long did it take to finish on average and how difficult was it??

2. Is it a Max Payne style game where you have to aim with one stick and move with the other.

Thanks for any replies.

I wish they didn't have to make the one player a story mode. I hate FPS with stories (MOH: Frontline was boring). Arena battles are much better methinks. Anyone agree?

TimeSplitters is the best game I own on the PS2. The mapmaker is phenomenal, and I still play it regularly now. TimeSplitters 2 is going to be 100x better, plus monkeys.

I can't wait for this game, although I will more than likely get it on my GC (So I don't have to bother buying a Multi-tap and 2 more controllers fpor the PS2).

Still, The origanal was an awesome game, a great multplayer title, though it did feel a bit rushed. Hopefully now though the developers have fixed the problem of the origanal, and from what I've seen, it looks like they have.

I found controls difficult, I'm used to a keyboard for Quake 3, Unreal etc (on PC) will perservere with TS2 though.

I didnt rate the multiplayer mode in the first one, it wasnt really 'out of this world'. The second should be excellent though.

The one player mode is pretty pants, but the multi player is simply out of this world. Plus you can also play the multi player mode on your own. I'd definately recommend that you buy this game, after all what other FPS are there on the PS2? You've already mentioned Max Payne so i persume you already have that.
