I was flicking through the EDGE awards issue a few hours ago and I thought to myself, why doesn’t SR have some sort of an awards ceremony, official or member created? Obviously not categories such as: ‘Game of the year’, or ‘Innovation of the year’. Instead maybe ‘Newbie/Regular/Notable of the year’ and ‘Staff member of the year’.

So how about you all post categories that could be judged, then a Staff member could post the headings, and allow people to vote? So far, I have come up with…

Newbie of the year
Regular of the year
Notable of the year
Staff of the year

Most annoying member
Most liked member

I've said it once and i'll say it again SAD! I mean at least have some respect for yourself!! don't grovel to be voted that just makes people hate you more. Spend less time pleading and more time on quality post's

I dunno SHEEPY is booth extremely well liked and a great notable! can't he have booth titles? And what do you mean no Newbie of the year!! I can think of lots of great Newbies but then again I can think of a lot of absolute fools lol point taken :D

yes, can we have an awards ceremony, but there will be one little problem with newbie of the Year, there will actually be no body who will have been a Newbie, made a contribution of some sort AND been a member for a year.
