i thought i'd write a post similar to what a ninty wrote in the x box forum a while back.

the game cube is a kiddie piece of crap that is only good for being a heavy door stop.

Mario looks like a dodgy 70's porn star and all the multi format games all look cack on the silly cube.

the joypad is a joke. the x box was said to be to big but the game cube is far to small and the D pad is to small for my little finger let alone my thumb.

if i saw a Game Cube on fire i wouldn't even take a wiz to put it out i'd run and grab all the spirits and petrol i could to fuel the fire instead.

face it ninty's the GC is a bigger dissapointment that the N64 was.

second rate graphics with second rate games.

that's it

ah but i like PS2 so i must be letting them down too huh.

oh and i suppose pokemon, animal crossing, zoocube and mario party 4 are all aimed at the 'mature' gamer?

and i suppose you watch all the Disney films and never a film like Pulp fiction or Aliens? because your all so mature.

Calling a game kiddie because it's not stuffed with gore, blood and violence...

Are you sure you're 20? You're sounding like a 12 year old!

"I'm too grown up and mature for cartoony games because I'm all grown up!"

Ironically, that's what all the 10 year olds are saying.
The TRULLY mature gamers buy a game because it's a good one.

That's why we Nintendo fans are looking forward to fun light hearted games like Mario, as well as dark bloodthirsty games like Resident Evil.
We like Zelda and Perfect Dark because they're good games.

Not because they make us feel all grown up.

We're gamers.

Now look around your forum.
I think you'll find that most of your fellow Xbox owners are looking forward to games like Blinx AS WELL AS games like Halo 2.

Why?

Because they have a post-pubescent mentality and judge a game by how good it is, rather than how "big and grown up" it makes them feel.
Try and be a bit more like them.

You do know that you're letting your ENTIRE forum down...

Maverick42 your the sort of idiot my post was aimed at, why can't you all be like i dunno Edgy.

you think that the sun shines outta nintendo's a$s. and your arguments are lame as hell and so what splitter cell is multi format as i aint a fan boy and have a PS2 and soon an x box my point is still valid.

nintendo aint the greatest they never were. sega where great they tried new ideas but moron's like you went and brought a N64 cause you had no idea and were to blind to see what sega where doing.

Sega still make the best games as JSRF proves on x box.

The only fanboy here is you.

So fun, fresh and innovative titles are now considered kiddy? I question your taste. The answer was bad, very bad. Those games are designed for everyone, and because you obviously haven't played them, you're too ignorant to see that.

Hmmm, Spinter Cell's multi-format, try again. And I've seen screenshots for Splinter Cell and played on the PS2 and DC versions of Resident Evil. None of them come close.

Have you played Halo 2 or Spinter Cell? No. And I don't see what's so original about shooting a load of aliens and a Metal Gear Solid clone. I can also tell you've never played Mario or Zelda as they're both aging and successful franchises that could just as well be a new game each time. Final Fantasy isn't even on X-Box, and the GameCube's getting an exclusive.

Wrong. Nintendo are, and that's a fact.

Lugi mansion, mario sunshine, pikmin, zelda and some druggy puzzle cack i forget it's dumb name and no doubt that dumb a$s donkey kong will pop up and mario kart will probably boringly spring up to. oh and you can throw super smash bros melee in there too

and resident evil 0 looks no better than resident evil code veronica on PS2 and even the DC

Halo 2, splitter cell and the excelent Project Ego and as if the games you mention are special in anyway, oh mario jump from platform to platform and zelda ohhhhh lets tell the same old story over and over, final fantasy kicks zelda in the butt.

Look, this topic is stupid. It's just one fanboy's stupid comments, that he believes to be true. Well it's not.

Can you name me more than three 'kiddy' games on the GameCube? Thought not.

Can you name me a game on the X-Box that betters the graphics of Resident Evil on the GameCube? Thought not.

Can you name a game on the X-Box that has the innovation of Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, StarFox Adventures or The Legend Of Zelda? Thought not.

Nintendo are the best games company in the world, so I doubt they'd make second rate games. Moron.

and the D pad is so small making it useless and pointless (and yeah you need the d pad for any decent beat em ups)

Link looks dumb cel shaded and mario is as interesting as a wet kipper

The graphics are unrealistic and far to cartoony. there is not T&L or any good special effects, and all the backgrounds in RE0 are pre-drawn which any console can do easily.

LOL errrrm think you'll find more on x box.

your getting a HDD and a broadband adapter all built in at no extra cost so add a broadband adapter and a mem card to the GC price and it's actualy more.

yeah i'll smoke it and blow it all in your face.
