First i heard about this title was today, a news aricle on nintendo.co.uk
It's a survival-horror game, multi-platform, not sure of the release.

The web site's at
http://www.darkblack.co.uk/asylum/index.htm

The plot is as follows: A reality tv show has rented out a 'haunted' house for its show, in which you're a contestant competing for a $10 million prize.
The show sets various challenges to the contestants, on the haunted theme, which must be completed in order to take home the loot.

But a slightly unforseen twist changes the stakes, as the house turns out, yes, you guessed it, to actually be haunted, and you end up fighting for your life.

Now, not to accuse darkblack productions of anything, the idea's been used before. A few years ago i saw a tv film thing done in the style of blair witch, with people in a haunted house doing dares for cash (filmed on their handheld and helmet-mounted video cameras). They did do a very good job though, it worked very well (for a lot of the show, i was kept guessing whether the 'noises' and the likes were staged, coincidence or my imagination), so i think there is potential, and hopefully asylum won't let the side down.

Pictures, well, there's not much to go on, but it looks suitably good. And dark.

If all goes well, this could be quite a gem.

Yeah, the haunting was a pretty cool film. The bit where matey is locked in the crazy person machine is pretty disterbing I thought.

It's like Luigi's Mansion all over again :)

Sounds good to me and I too remember that tv show, only because I saw it on channel 5 about a week ago, it was called Fear if I remember rightly, not bad actually.

I saw this film like that kinda idea... can't remember the name, but it was them staying in this mansion or something, but they later find out the mansion used to be an old mental asylum... and the asylum was run by this doctor who was a psycho and did wierd experiments on all the mental patients and stuff... dunno the name if it, but it was quite wierd...

Be good though, you could have other people who are trying to win the money trying to freak you out at first, but also 'real' ghosts too, and you're not sure which is which...

Sounds very much like the movie 'The Haunting' to me. I enjoyed that movie - the first to even start to freak me out. It's the closest to being scared I've been watching a movie - shame movies effect me very little.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
