Most people here have high resolutions on their computers. I'm just trying 1024x768 but this page doesn't like it!
There is an empty white bar on the right hand side of the page!
Hmmmmm, what's wrong?
If nothing's wrong, then this is the reason why I hate the resolution, nothing really looks right!

If I run it on my highest res, 1600x1200, the writing is about 1mm big. Im sticking with my 1152x864 thank you.

ARGH! Another one! How the hell dare you spend all the money on a 21" monitor and not run it at high res?! It's criminal!
It keeps telling me to run like that!
Stupid monitor!

It's because of "Adoption" rates. 2-3 years ago, the norm monitor was 800/600 as at the time, this was the current technology being sold, now the norm is a basic of 1024/768 as monitors become cheaper and better. in a couple of years time it'll be the next one up.
the tide changes on about every 2 years as this is the common length of time for new "settings" to become adopted. Look at the 15 - 17 inch monitor jump, that took ages before 17" became the norm.
So it has nothing to do with turning tides, but PC sales.

That's what Safe Mode does. Puts everything to its lowest possible value.
