I seriously think 1000 times the power of the PS2 is a bit optimistic for a games console.

I still love my PS2; GTA3 was awesome, and Vice City will be better. The PS3 is going to change gaming a lot. Its Cell chip is possibly the next step to what we'll be seeing in our computers within a couple of years, (being a 1000 times stronger than the PS2's chip) eventually leading to an abandonment of binary code processors.

I played on my PS2 for about 2 months then it became a doorstop. Xbox is my kind of console compared to the PS2.

The PS2 was a rip off and rushed piece of technology. That's a fact. £300.00 for about half the power of the X-Box and GC? It was riddled with bugs and had a terrible launch line up. If it wasn't for the few excellent games it has and has coming, I'd sell mine.
