I used to think you typed in the name of the drive for it to change:
..whatever the command is but instead I get:
Invalid Drive Name
*me slaps PC*
Invalid Drive Name or bad command
I really do hate DOS, I didn't get any documentation apart from the text files on the CD which are too long and boring for me to sit and read :)
ooh, also, I tried installing it through Windows and it just says they're all DOS batch files...so
I tried the DOS commands above in MS-DOS Promt and it changed the drive name..etc but said it needs to be run in the startup DOS mode thingy.
So if anyone can be bothered to write a few simple things fr me to do down here i'd be very grateful :)
anyway, i've got passed that, everythings installed but....
i've set all the passwords..etc up and it asks me for the final boot so I do that, enter the root login name and password and it gives me some spiel about authority and copyright..yadda yadda then stops.
wise Turbonutter, what shall I do?
I love PCs...
