The Xbox has got loads of great games, amazing Microsoft support and quite a few diehard fans. Just because it isn't the most widespread console, it doesn't mean there are no good games and it's going to die next year. The Xbox has its future sorted, and a brilliant campaign from Microsoft this Christmas could mean many more sales. That would certainly wipe the smiles off your faces.
Grow up, y'all.

What a load of crap, get out of here you complete idiot.
½pint, notice that you've concentrated mainly on the online potential of X-Box, which is all very well and good if you want to play online! As for me, I'll leave the online experience for my PC and use the Gamecube for enjoyable, original 1-player gaming. :)
I'd rather they do as Sony and Nintendo are doing, and leave broadband till some point next year, at which time the coverage in the UK will have increased and the prices for installment/upkeep will have decreased. Makes far more business sense, but then I suppose at the end of the day, the younger audience aren't going to have as much patience in the matter. Course if they had the reasons pointed out to them by a PR spokesperson, I'd wager they'd understand... but then Microsoft aren't exactly patient themselves.
Xbox Live will be a great feature but only once ADSL prices have dropped.
At the moment, you can either buy 10 BRAND NEW Xbox games or just have ADSL internet. The prices equal themselves out!
Personally, I'd have 10 new games instad of playing online but once the prices for broadband come down, I can see it being a great success, if a little slow to start.
Given that this is their first console venture they are still getting the feel of the land...
As Ive said several times before, don't forget that MS's IE, Word, and OS were all openly knocked and ridiculed on release, were all seen as poor performers that Microsoft had made a mistake, and that their image would hinder their success...
Then several years on they are the standard software packages in their respective markets...
Just because MS isnt like Sony or Nintendo or SEGA doesnt mean that they are out of the water so soon... they are a highly intelligent, versitile company, especially given their size...
Only a fool would knock MS at this stage of the game, we'll, at the very least, need to see how the consoles fare this Christmas
That's not gonna change.
Nice ideas but unless sales pick up no amount of spec or features is gonna help.
