I'm sure many of you (who've read the latest news on Cube Europe) are aware that gamefaqs.com are continuing their poll competition to find out which is the most popular videogames characters.
Well, currently, it's Mario V Cloud (from FF7) and Mario is about 800 votes behind! Now, I think Cloud is a great character and all, but come on, us Ninty's need to support our own mascot!

He's only mysterious cos he can't remember who he is... He fails to become one of these elite soldier things, so makes up half his past then he thinks he's a clone, and he has mental breakdowns during vital parts of the game, which gets irritating...
At least Mario is consistent! Consistently fat... consistently rescuing princess'... consistently eating magic mushrooms... consistently jumping down pipes... you get the idea...

Cloud kicks @ss. Well Mario's anyway.
Cloud sucks really. He has memory loss or something in the game, has mental breakdowns half the time with ringing in his ears, and goes insane on a number of occasions. Mario on the other hand just eats magic mushrooms to grow bigger. So he would win in a fight. Obviously.
