The problem is that you have no guarantee that the grey stick from that will fit EXACTLY like the official ones.

i suppose nintendo have put it in the only place possible really.

Although i use index on z and middle on r so it doesnt bother me, its uncomfortable at first but it gets better.

Any one done the 2 grey sticks thing? is it any good.
Also couldnt you just but a £10 controller and use the grey one from that, instead of messing with your £25 one?

If it was above the start, it would mean it would draw your fingers away from the other buttons which would be pretty useless, that is, unless you mash B and A with the middle of your fingers which is kinda annoying and imprecise...

i know , last night in bed i was fiddling with my control to try and see where the best place would be , id have to say what you say JD, that place that he put it is pretty crap, i reckon if you took the rumble out (it's not worth it) then you could put it on the back off the control which i thought felt pretty cool , try it yourself , hold the control normally , then rest your middle finger on the back of the control , and it felt pretty nice. Not pefrect though.

The place where he put the new Z button is crap ,you'd have to press it with your middle finger.

it's not easy to break it , not easy at all :)

i did the c stick mod and the one that i mentioned about switching the backs on the controls this morning. The different coloured controls i like , but im still deciding whether or not to keep the grey c stick in favour of the yellow one. It just feels a bit weird , im going to try and get used to it , but at the moment it's pretty pointless.

also if you want to open up your control you can use a tri head screwdriver (i got one free with my afterburner) or use a very small flat head screwcriver , make it go into the corners of two of the three grooves in the screw , make sure it doesn't move and wreck the screw, then just undo it like a normal screw , it will feel a bit weird when you do unscrew it , because the screwdriver isn;t in the center , but it should work ... good luck !

im going to try and get some buttons this week so that i can do the z button mod , when i do i'll post some pictures of them.
