Guess it's just not my sort of film. Didn't laugh once, didn't find it involving or tragic or touching.
I fell asleep right after Chas slitting his wrists and couldn't be arsed to go back and see what I missed.
The acting was excellent, well written, well directed but I just didn't care about any of it.
*shrugs again*
Happens sometimes
"You need a vast intellect to understand this film."
Sorry?
>Rushmore?
Ooh la laaaaaaa....
Like I said, well written/acted/directed just didn't do it for me.
It must have hurt my tiny little mind.
Have you seen Fast and The Furious? I like the bit where the cars go really fast.
It's just I'm not sure whether to get the Royal Tenebaums or rent it because so far a lot of people I know have said that it isn't all that funny. And I know that Rushmore isn't to everyone's tastes but it was funny in the way that Woody Allen movies used to be funny.
Anyway that's enough "funnies" for now, and enough interlectuals too by the looks of things...

Great films, more often than not, need interlectual minds, and people

Irony is also a great content for interlectual mins. Granted, the littlest interlectual things may be funny.
But you have to look close to spot them.
Great films, more often than not, need interlectual minds, and people who can laugh at the littlest, slightest funny bit... didnt you see the ganga trees in the background when your in that blokes (who's on drugs) apartment...
The smallest laughs are always the best...
Great film, Gosford PArk and Iris were also great, watched all three in the same night... good watching...
