does any one else agree that the Final Fantasy series is getting a bit restless, with it continuing past 10 games.
Please respond, I know someone will.

I hate them because originally Final Fantasy 1-6 were on the SNES and GB which are Nintendo consoles, then the Greystation comes along and makes 7-10. I hate the series because they are with SONY now when they were Originally for Nintendo.

Whoever it was that wrote this was being dumb. It's nothing to do with the amount of games, esspecialy seeing as they aren't related.

I dislike FF games because I don't like the way they are 'done' if you know what I mean. I also hate it's pants combat system. Thankfully the GC FF game is apprently using a Secret of Mana style combat system, which means that it may actually interest me, seeing as theres nothing wrong with the stories or anything ^_^

The Legend of Zelda (NES)
The Legend of Zelda 2: Adventures of Link (NES)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES + GBA)
The Legend of Zelda (atleast one version on the SNES sattelite)
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (GB + DX-version on GBC)
The Legend of Zelda (3 Zelda games on the Phillips CD-i)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (GBC)
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (GBC)
The Legend of Zelda (working title - GameCube)

Are you now going to tell me that you hate the Zelda series?

there have only been 9 Zelda games so far and one remake, whereas there are 10 FF games and another one being thought up.

I agree Sir Auron - would changing the name make it any more of an original game? I don't think so, they're all original in their own rights. Though the graphics aren't the best I've seen, they also look pretty good for the length of them, and I'm really enjoying working through FFX at the moment.

The main reason people dislike FF is because they can not do them or they do not understand them, all FF games are different except Cid and therefore they are each as original as most other game (except pikmin)

If you don't like FF why bother saying so, it is just like shooting yourself in the foot, do you dislike the great gameplay? The exciting storyline? breathtaking graphics? or one of the mnay other wonderful things?

If you actually played a Final Fantasy game, then you'd know that the only thing the games have in common is the name. They could all be different games and not once be considered as a copy. I think you're being a bit naive, what with all the Legend Of Zelda Remakes.

Ok we all have personal opinons, oh god im stating the same, obvouis thing in nearly every topic now, but even if you do not like it if you look on the larger scale final fantasy games are big and is the game square soft is mostly known for. So this coming to the GC is a good thing as this game has followers and these people may buy a GC for them meaning more money for Nintendo meaning more money to speand on bigger and better games, which you may lie.

Also more games on the GC and anopther thing that sony goes on about is taken away, that being that FF is only on PS.

As for it becoming repetative i find it isnt as the story lines are diffrent and the story lines are what makes the game, in my opnion.
I wouldnt mind is they had the same characters over and over again.

if 3 FF games were released on the GC i would buy all 3 as i like them, but resi evil 1 and resi evil 0 are more like a sequal and i for one will only buy 1 of them, more than likely 0 as its a new plot.
