I suppose it isn't ~that~ bad, it's just that adding a subscription fee on top of the £360 most people have to pay to get broadband could put a lot of people off.
By the way, I'm really not too sure about an online driving game, I know that you need to be mega accurate when playing normally but even the smallest lag can be a problem for people. You need to turn there and then, not a split second later...

Its around $50 in Maerica, which is around £40-45 over here so about the price of a game for, 12 months Subscription, A voice Communicator Headset and a free game.
