Hope you're all doing alright, I really need to get back on here more often!

Due to a slight problem last week, there were no winners selected for the 10th or 11th June. I can confirm that this has now been updated, and the winners for these are: pb and Ghost Killer.

But then again - i think if you have permission and credit the work to the original it is ok.

And if your looking at it like that then if you do not discover a cheat for yourself, but take it from a website or a book then is it not kind of the samething.

I am pretty sure it has been stated that walkthroughs can be copied - but i agree a topic with a quick yes or no would be a good idea!

So there is nothing to stop anyone copying a walkthrough (maybe even one they have nicked off this site!),posting it as there own and they could possibly win a GAD for it?.Got to admit that does kind of suck.What about reviews,creative writing etc.?.Winning posts should really be the members own work IMO.

Machie said it not the mods (although supposedly came from a mod). As of yet, there has been no official word from the mods and hence no green light. Until a mod like vexxed says so directly (not hard, just a new topic with a quick confirmation will do), i'm still not convinced that you CAN copy walkthroughs.

Yes, it's annoying, especially for all of those who spend time writing their own walkthoughs.

I don't bother with Walkthroughs, too much effort, but that doesn't mean I'd go and copy other people's...

I know, I noticed it as well - placed a thread in the Web Site and Development forum as the staffies are more likely to notice it.

It's happened a few times - be careful of any copyright infringement as well...
