Last time I was annoyed because it was so basically set up etc and defeated meaning of things... and more the principle of the thing that annoyed me.

Edgy isn't my first, second or even third choice for a vote and sometimes I overlook his posts but he's an alright guy and people obviously like him... I noticed some well known posters voted for him.

Yes, someone did start a post saying "vote Ninty" a week or so ago, but if you looked through it, no one took it seriously and didn't decide on some "representative".

I voted for Edgy because he's been around for AGE's, a VERY big character (not least for his infamous use of "greystation", but that passed LONG ago), good writer, that sort of thing.

And Sonic Rav recommended him too.
