I've got the region 1 boxset, and having looked at the new region 2 one, I think the region 2 one looks the better of the two.
The US one has funky silver packaging, but in terms of extras, there isn't really that much in it.
As long as it has all 16 episodes, i'd say the UK one looks better as it has the better extras.
