I never really had any problems with being id'd for games as most people can't be bothered to check, especially if there is a queue. You just avoid the old women who are serving incase they are the moany type. The funniest thing was one of my friends was told to show id on the grounds that the advisory label said suitable for 18+ and its not even a proper legal guide line!

Before I turned 18, I always got my mum or dad to buy 18 rated games, but there where times when I could get away with it. People always told me I was tall enough to pass as an 18 year old, and I put that theory to practice many times. I don't think I was ever hassled about showing ID though.

Anyway, I'm 19 now so can buy games as freely as I want. I could pick up UT2003 as soon as it comes out with no hassle, but I'm not going to. Played the demo and it actually feels more like another online Quake game that an Unreal one. It's fun, but I'm going to pay full price for it.

Did you ever get hassled about buying games before you were 18?
I only got asked once when I was trying to buy GTA from Dixons *snarls*, bought it online instead, cheaper too.

It realy is annoying, I don't buy alot of games and read pc gamer to rely on their views for helping me choose what i spend my money on. When I then decide to wait for a good game like unreal 2003 to come out so i don't waste my money on a game thats second best and it keeps getting put back, well it just means if a good game comes out I buy that and forget about unreal 2003. So they want to stop messing around and be a little sensible and then maybe I would buy it. At the moment I would seriously like another good internet FPS to be released so I dont need to buy unreal 2003 and give these people my money!
P.S. I know we are still waiting for the review and demo, but the new doom game looks like its going to be great and i have got used to waiting with unreal 2003, so maybe I can save my penny's for that!

I wonder why it's taking so long for the game to be released? It's a game I can wait for, but it would be nice if the devlopers actually gave a fixed release date, and if possible an official demo.

Freeola & GetDotted are rated 5 Stars

Check out some of our customer reviews below:

Unrivalled services
Freeola has to be one of, if not the best, ISP around as the services they offer seem unrivalled.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
