Can all you Nintendo fan-boy Mario lovers just stop trying to rip out the Xbox. Coming from me? Oh my god! The Nintendo man himself?!!! er-no is sticking up for not the company he believes in, but the industry he believes in. Gaming.
Microsoft has done more good than bad, and yet most of you are very stupid to see that. With Microsoft around, Sony and Nintendo must watch their own backs and also what games they make and which licences they buy.
For all of us. Yes! ALL OF US. This means better games. Otherwise we wouldn't have gotten the really great Mac game Halo on the XBox. We also wouldn't have the potentional of really great online RPG's on the console format.
I hate the company. Don't get me wrong. Microsoft are giant idiots in real life. I actually really don't like the console (itself) either. Yet I see what they are trying and the potential of what is under its black belly. Amazing games can be made for it, just like amazing games can be made for the other two consoles.
Ever since Nintendo (of the UK) said I couldn't have work experience for them I decided that as a company they are just like the rest (apart from Mac), they are crapheads. Only one individual is Nintendo, that is Shigsy himself. Anyways. Back to the point.
The Xbox is not crap, and with Microsoft as its company it WILL not fail, the can not be bargained with and it will not stop. Until we are dead...

Rightly so too. Halo is the best game on Xbox, so of course people are going to by the game with it.
GAME are doing a XBox, Halo, DVD remote and Fast&the Furious DVD for £235. Pretty good don't you think.
Its so tempting my friends thinking of trading in his PS2 to get it.

Halo is the REASON most people I sell an XBox to buy the game. They ain't bothered about anything else. Normally Halo and the DVD player. Some of them don't even know the console is made by Microsoft.

EA is actually mainly good:
NBA Street, SSX Tricky, Freekstyle, NHL games, Madden games.
Also, Agent Under Fire & Nightfire, Medal Of Honor, LOTR Two Towers and many more.
FIFA is a bad represntation. If they just tossed the Fifa licence to an up & coming developer and continued with there other games they'd do very well.

True, Halo fuelled the launch, same as some Nintendo franchises fuelling the GC's Launch. Ps2's launch was dissapointing though.....

Nintendo have brought out Wave Race: Blue Storm, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin. Third parties brought out such games such as Rogue Leader, Super Monkey Ball and Tony Hawk's 3. The point I'm making is, though this aren't amazingly brilliant titles (e.g. Halo, Ocarina Of Time, GTA3), they're still very good and for most people, there's something for everyone.
This is what I feel Nintendo were trying to acheive with the GameCube, and I think they've done it. All I'm saying is it was different to Microsoft's line up (not better, but different) as Microsoft brought out Halo, which everybody loves and a few other ok/good games. Without Halo, it would have been a terrible launch (much like the PS2's).
