Larry-O's latest game, Super Larry-O Bros 2: Carrot Capers, despite it's original new method of play, didn't make as much money as SCEJ, the game's developers had actually hoped for. Those who bought it, took it back, those who did actually keep it only did so to make their videogames collection look bigger. Sadly, the game's marketing manager, Toyota Satsuma, and his assistant, Fuji Camawa, resigned shortly after the game's release in Europe.

However, fans of the original Larry-O Bros, the videogame that was completely new and entirely original, don't dispair! SJEC have already began work on the third game, this time called, Super Larry-O Bros 3. It has already been announced by SCEE that Larry-O Bros 3 has gone back to it's roots, with only the Larry-O brothers to play as, using the original technique of jumping on enemies to defeat them. There are a few additions to this game that make it that little bit better than the original though.

First of all, you get to miss out certain levels if you don't want to, with this brand new, revolutionary, completely original and uncopied, map screen! Instead of having to go through every level in order, you can choose which route you'd like to take through each world, though missing out levels could mean missing out on bonus items featured throughout the game.

Second new feature is the ability to win and use items between main levels. As I have already mentioned, there are bonus levels throughout the game which award you with items. These items are to be used before you select the level you wish to use them in, which means you start the level using the items. Unlike Super Mario Bros 3, although released around ten years before Larry-O Bros was even announced, it is a complete copy, the items effect both the main characters in different ways:

Sun
Larry-O: Makes him invincible for a limited amount of time. Larry-O can run straight through enemies without getting a single scratch - though the catch is he can't actually destroy enemies til the effects wear off.
Muigi: Because he wears a ginger beard, he is laughed at in the game. Getting the Sun item makes all the enemies invincible making Muigi have to run for his ginger life! Just touching an enemy will make him lose a life!

Weed
Larry-O: As this suggests, it is a drug. After Nintendo showed their support for the use of Magic Mushrooms, SCEJ thought nothing of including two brothers, one with a ginger beard, taking weed. When Larry-O takes it, he believes he has the power to fire meteors from his fingertips! He does somehow succeed in defeating enemies with this technique for some reason!
Muigi: Being ginger, very thin, lanky, and having poor bloodflow to his head so high, weed doesn't really help. Muigi just gets really dizzy and tends to fall over uncontrollably a lot. Unless you really hate Muigi, we reccomend you stay clear of weed.

Fungus: Eating wild mushrooms is not advised, but it doesn't stop gamers from making Larry-O and Muigi try it out.
Larry-O: For Larry-O, eating fungus makes him small, therefore he can hide, go to special areas an sneak past enemies without them noticing him.
Muigi: Because he is much, much taller than his older brother, he needs a higher 'dose' of fungus than he can get in the game for the effects to work properly. Instead of shrinking his whole body, eating fungus just shrinks his package, making more people laugh at him for his misfortune.

Other items that I'll let you discover throughout the game include the Tangerine suit, Sphynx Cat's fur coat (anyone with a Sphynx Cat as a pet will know what I'm on about...) and even an item called Larry-O's whistle - that apparently bikini-clad Pansy likes to blow.

Here's the storyline, as announced by the new Marketing Manager of SCEE, Will Fences:

"Once again, Princess Pansy has been kidnapped by the cruel giant lizard, Boozer. All he wanted was to test his new beer goggles on her almost completely revealed chest, but once again, the Larry-O brothers have a problem with that - even if Pansy doesn't! The Larry-O brothers have to travel through 8 totally unique and original worlds consisting of: The Mushroom Kingdom, Fire, Snow, Water, Desert, Forest, Toffo-land and Boozers Bar. It's your job to get them through it all, rescue the princess, and as a special bonus, she strips off altogether!"

Please note, Will Fences later announced after most media groups had left the conference, that the very special bonus was just a joke.

So there we have it, SCEE's latest announcement, the latest Larry-O Bros game, and the fake promise of seeing Princess Pansy's perfectly animated breasts. What do you mean, how do I know they're perfectly animated? Um....er....

Again, no official release date has been announced but Mr. Fences has used the word 'Soon' a lot...so expect to see it soon.

More news as we hear it!
