I know it's become a big thing on here, the Notable Elections, but it's becomming so boring very quickly due to lots and lots of people starting topics saying "Who are you going to vote for?" and "Vote me cos I rule" (not aimed at Stryke - it's pretty much what most the campaigners have said).

I'd be very suprised if there was one topic in this Gaming forum here that is actually about games!!!

It's pointless starting lots of new topics over and over again. Sure, let each member have a campaign thread if they want, just if someone wants to boost anothers campaign - why not post it in their campaign thread?

It's what FoG chat was designed for.
Proper gaming topics go in Prime.

The idea of FoG chat is that a post for the moment goes in, gets a bit of attention and then sinks above loads of other topics.
Perfect for campaigns.

Notable elections are fine, but I agree.

We all say afterwards about how much crap we posted about the Notable elections and how much is wring with them, and already there's masses of topics about it, even from seasoned regulars.

As I've said, I've nothing against the campaigns, just multiple campaigns for the same person in the same forum.

Edgy, it's only a harmless bit of fun.
No body takes real notice of the campaigns, they're just there for a laugh.

If you don't like it, ignore it.
No use complaining about it.

It only happens 4 times a year. get used to it! :-)

That's gonna be next quarter's Notable campaign - "Urinate on Edgy - Vote Edgy!" :) (never know - might get those who dislike me to vote me :) )

I didn't say you can't have your own campaign thread - I meant that if you're campaigning for someone else, and there's already a thread for them up somewhere, post it in there!
